Daniel Garbade’s images are always surprising with their impressive direct speech. They manage to attract our attention by the purity of their forms. Her photography has this subtle point that sets it apart from anything our eyes are used to seeing. Sometimes he borders on surrealism with his usual sense of humor. But all of his works follow his own recognizable aesthetic. Garbade places objects on different types of surfaces to give them heterogeneous textures. When taking his photographs, his goal is not so much the originality of the composition. But how to achieve images full of poetry. Giving them their own identity and making any object attractive, no matter how ordinary.
Garbade has been exhibited in major galleries and museums in Spain. Swiss. Austria. France. Italy. United States and Mexico. He has participated in art fairs like ART Basel and ARCO.
