While the Oakbrook Center hosts an exhibition that seeks to replicate the experience of contemplating these High Renaissance masterpieces. “Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibition” uses a special photographic technique that reproduces the colors and details of the 34 frescoes. Representing on life-size canvases that put the works at eye level.

The spacious show allows you to get up close and personal with photos of works like The Last Judgment and The Creation of Adam. It might not be quite like visiting the Sistine Chapel in person. But your neck probably won’t hurt that much.
