Argentinian artist Gerardo Feldstein came to sculpture through painting. Born in Buenos Aires, he studied electrical engineering for a few years. He started painting and today he is an artist in various fields. His sculptures are made of different materials. Geraldo uses yarn, wood, textiles and other things to form his works. There is always something unusual and bizarre that marks his pieces.
Hands, huge feet.
Bodies have huge hands, arms, or feet. Although it seems their tiny heads aren’t able to tell them how to move their huge ends. His wire sculptures literally extend their reach and go beyond the frame. What unifies all of his works is a common sense of humor. A certain amazement that we all share on our journey through life.
