Rasmus Myrup (born 1991) is a Danish artist working between Paris and Copenhagen. His work is a synthesis of the big and the small. Influenced by our evolutionary history and our belonging to the natural world, he studies the arc of humanity’s natural roots in the context of personal human emotions and relationships. Working mainly with sculpture and drawing, his works fit into a post-humanist context, trying to escape the separation from nature that past centuries have put forward.
