Stefaan De Croock (1982) lives and works in Bruges, Belgium. He graduated in fine arts (graphic design) at Sint-Lucas in Ghent. Since 2011, Stefaan has devoted his time entirely to his art and to his “Strook” project. His training and experience as a graphic designer clearly marked his artistic vision. Stefaan first draws some basic lines. Each drawing begins with this rapid, spontaneous, even impulsive action. He leans towards automatic drawing. Within these lines, he creates different dimensions by adding color. Structure and narrative details. The intrigue fights to attract the attention of the spectator. However, the large composition stands firm.
