ARTEXPRESS 2022 showcases a selection of outstanding student artwork developed for the Artistic Creation component of the HSC Visual Arts exam in 2021. A challenging year and provides insight into student creativity. Also, issues that are important to them.
Expressive forms.
The exhibition encompasses a wide range of approaches and expressive forms. Including ceramics. The collection of works. Documented forms. Design. Graphics. Painting. Photographic media. Then, engraving, sculpture, textiles and fibers, and temporal forms.
These elegant and highly resolved works testify to creativity. From a resilience and a sustained search for the very complex world and times in which we live.
Student works.
The Art Gallery of NSW is the main venue for ARTEXPRESS, showcasing work by students from across NSW. Presented in partnership with the NSW Department of Education, Arts Unit and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
