Weiner’s primary focus is a form of abstract painting imbued with political and social meaning. He simultaneously mixes neo-expressionism and conceptual post-painting. Many of Weiner’s recent paintings and sculptures grapple with identity. Contemporary American History. Generating abstract, obscure and distressed representations of a changing culture.
