Addressing pressing topics ranging from the sexual expression and objectification of women to human suffering and the violence of war, her work engages with the precarious lived experience of humans and animals.

Breakthrough group performances.

The exhibition will present the first paintings of the artist. His experimental sculptural assemblages and kinetic works. her pioneering performance work in which she used her own body as a medium. Also, his breakthrough group performances. As well as his lyrical films and immersive multimedia installations. With over 200 objects and rarely seen archival material, this exhibition positions Schneemann as one of the most relevant, provocative and inspiring artists of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
